Replace series 3 front brake shoes, wheel cylinder and adjusters

I am no mechanic, nor am I an expert of any sort.  Please use all info on these pages to gain ideas only.  You make your own mind up and take your own chances!

Recently I have renewed the front brakes on my landy.  This included shoes (axel set) 2 wheel cylinders and both front brake adjusters. 

Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures but I would say that if you have some tools, a bit of common sense and a Haynes manual you should be able to do it.  I bought most of my stuff from John Craddock land rover spares (see links) mainly because I have used them a few times and the stuff always comes quickly and with no bother. 

The adjuster kit was worth every penny and the easiest bit to do.  Chisel (or grind if poss.) the old one off and just assemble the new one in the hole
