Fitting a safari snorkel to a 200tdi land rover discovery!

Even before I bought my discovery I had decided I had to fit a snorkel.  I decided on a safari snorkel becuase having spoken to a few poeple who had fitted them it seemed like a relatively simple job.  The kit does come with simple instructions, an easy to follow template along with every nut, bolt and clip that you need to fit.  The only real tools required are a 13mm spanner, drill, rivet gun and a jig saw.  

I took a few photographs when we were fitting the discovery snorkel and so have included a brief description below.  This is not meant to be a complete fitting guide, it assumes you will eventually buy the kit and get the same instructions as I did. 

Firstly we masked up the wing with tape as I couldnt find a permenant marker anywhere so drawing on the tape was easier than straight onto the paint.

Then we taped the template to the wing and marked the holes with a felt tip pen.
