In the 2008 event we competed in an almost completely standard Land Rover 110. This vehicle was manufactured in 1989 and still has its original 2.5l petrol engine (although LPG gas converted). The Land Rover performed admirably and didnt let us down once. This engine was too slow and really is underpowered for motorway use. If we are to enter in the same vehicle next year the engine will be replaced with a 200tdi turbo diesel unit.
